Based on the innovations in Instant Payment, a large German bank questioned how this payment method could be implemented within its own house and made available for its customers. SHC’s support consisted of an analysis of Instant Payment, as well as a joint workshop to develop options and chances.

Projects and Publications
A major German travel and logistic company redesigned its payment transactions completely. This redesign was part of the distribution channels’ restructuring process of the IT-infrastructure within the group. The selection and implementation of a payment gateway to standardise payment transaction interfaces formed part of this task. Within the context of an EU-tendering procedure, SHC significantly supported this tendering.
In 2013 within the development of a Business Unit Payment, an international telecommunication company won, with the support of SHC as a “lighthouse project”, the largest German gas station and rest stops operators. The aim of the gas station and rest stop operator was to enable cashless, contactless payment for the users of approx. 1.000 access machines and approx. 400 Self-Payment coffee dispensers at their gas stations and rest stops. To this end, the project partners jointly set up a contactless payment system, piloted it and rolled it out in the field.
Within the collaboration, additional value-added services were developed. As far as the project tasks are concerned, SHC took over the whole control and coordination of the major project.
A major international acquirer was faced with the challenge of responding to changing customer expectations and structural changes in payment transactions. To this end, a strategy with derived measures for the following objectives was to be developed:
Design and development of a professional services offering for a global provider of payment solutions.
