A young Fintech startup from the UK / Ireland region has undertaken significant efforts to develop a state-of-the-art, secure digital authentication platform. In parallel, the small but effective team has entered into partnership negotiations with two large multinational groups – to jointly develop comprehensive, partnership specific business models. SHC supported the partnership implementations to ensure focused execution of the core business ramp up, and to fill the resource gaps of the team.

Most important tasks of SHC in the project

  • Productization of the platform: growing the platform into a standardized, tested, packaged, supported and marketed product
  • Providing direction on “connected” use cases (i.e. loyalty, consumer security, card linking, M2M identification and payment) to generate further strategic options
  • Establishing Sales Readiness for a generic “Banks & PSP” offering to utilize the PSD2 / Open Banking opportunity in the European market, including the identifying of “early adopter” prospects to start the sales cycle and receive customer feedback
