TENDER AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A PAYMENT GATEWAY

A major German travel and logistic company redesigned its payment transactions completely. This redesign was part of the distribution channels’ restructuring process of the IT-infrastructure within the group. The selection and implementation of a payment gateway to standardise payment transaction interfaces formed part of this task. Within the context of an EU-tendering procedure, SHC significantly supported this tendering.

SCHEME FEES

In 2016 SHC established, in cooperation with an international acquirer, an organisational and technical concept for its scheme fee billing and restructuring of its scheme-responsible department. After intensive internal and analytical phases in this department, the IST processes were documented and interim and target processes were defined in close exchange. For the successful implementation of the concept, SHC also specified a support tool for the recording, maintenance and billing of scheme fees. After a test phase, the concept was successfully implemented.

CONTACTLESS PAYMENT

In 2013 within the development of a Business Unit Payment, an international telecommunication company won, with the support of SHC as a “lighthouse project”, the largest German gas station and rest stops operators. The aim of the gas station and rest stop operator was to enable cashless, contactless payment for the users of approx. 1.000 access machines and approx. 400 Self-Payment coffee dispensers at their gas stations and rest stops. To this end, the project partners jointly set up a contactless payment system, piloted it and rolled it out in the field.
Within the collaboration, additional value-added services were developed. As far as the project tasks are concerned, SHC took over the whole control and coordination of the major project.
